Flowers - capitulo uno

So it may be approaching temperatures in the teens - but a little vegetation will help to warm that up. Here are a couple flower paintings I did a week or so ago.

Eat your peas!

These are the things that I love to eat. But alas, I do not. That would mean I would have to (gasp) drive to a grocery store. So instead, I've painted them. Maybe someday they will inspire me to start cooking healthy again. Eating out is just so yummy...







(I'm not sure what's up with the white specs when you zoom in on the pics...still working on the whole lighting/photography thing. But it's getting there.)

I have a lot more to share but I'm in the process of figuring out the light situation in my apartment. Every picture that I take seems to come out dark and blurry. So stay tuned for the flowers, fruits, vegetables, buildings and mustaches to come.
